Weather research
Since June 2026 we have paired every measured visibility report from ~30 offshore helidecks with the forecast that was archived at issue time. Predictions are frozen, every change has to prove itself before it ships, and every forecast is graded against what actually happened.
Advection fog, not radiation fog: measured fog rate is 0% below 3 kt and 0% above 25 kt. The textbook recipe is wrong offshore, and the data says so.
